Our Products

Belmore Biodynamic Meats provides a comprehensive range of Bio-Dynamic, Organic and Free Range Chemical Free produce. All of our products in our Organic range have been grown on Certified Bio-Dynamic and Organic farms where the animals roam free range on open grazing pastures. In accordance with the National Standard for Organic and Bio-Dynamic Produce the animals are antibiotic, synthetic pesticide and antibiotic free and do not contain genetically modified inputs.

The Certified Bio-Dynamic Beef and Lamb are grass fed, whilst the Certified Organic Pigs are free to forage on select pasture crops. They are also fed a Certified Organic Grain as a required supplement. Similarly, the Certified Organic Poultry forage on irrigated pastures, supplemented by a Certified Organic feed.

What is Bio-Dynamic?

Bio-Dynamic farming is an extremely strict form of organic farming developed by Rudolf Steiner in 1924. The only fertilisers used are those derived from cow manure. Bio-Dynamic farmers use a traditional form of organic agriculture, which relies on the workings of nature.  

Our organic produce is certified by the following accredited certification bodies:

• BFA (Biological Farmers of Australia)
• NASAA (National Association Sustainable Agriculture Australia)
• DEMETER (The Biodynamic Research Institute)
• OFC (Organic Food Chain)
• ACO (Australian Certified Organic)

There are two levels of Organic/Bio-Dynamic produce. With Level A farming, farmers have practiced Organic/Bio-Dynamic farming for a minimum of three years. With Level B farming, farmers have not yet achieved the full certification. Buying a Certified Organic or Bio-Dynamic product is your guarantee of the product's authenticity.

Free Range Chemical Free

Our Free Range Chemical Free products are fed on a natural grain based diet free of additives, thus ensuring a flavoursome product. All of our Free Range products are grown with strict standards regarding animal welfare, with the animals able to roam free and graze.

We try to support small individual growers and the organic industry as a whole.
